About the Friends of the Bridgman Library
The Friends of the Bridgman Library is an organization whose purpose is to
unite people who are committed to enrich the services and activities
of the Bridgman Public Library.
The Friends raise money through fundraisers and memberships. The annual fundraisers include: the Community-Wide Rummage Sale in May and the Annual Book 'n Bake Sale in July. Another way the friends raise money is through the ongoing sale of gently used books in the Friends Book Shoppe. The monies raised by the friends allow the library to purchase new
items and fund many programs for the community.
The Friends of the Bridgman Library operate a Book Shoppe inside the Library.
All the books are "gently used." Items include hardcover and paperback
books for both children and adults, used CDs, DVDs and Audio books.
The Shoppe is opened year round.
