Coastline Childrens Film Festival

The library is once again a screening location for the Coastline Children’s Film Festival. Sponsored by the Krasl Art Center, with financial support from The Virginia and Harvey Kimmel Arts Education Fund of the Philadelphia Foundation.

Wednesday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m. – Northwest Film Forum Shorts

Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. – Kid Flix (film shorts)

Stop in to celebrate Star Wars Day by making your own porg. May the Fourth be with you!

  • Preloaded with high quality, ad-free apps that are both fun and educational.
  • Provides hours of interactive learning and play without exposure to unintended content or the need for a network connection or downloading. Launchpads are secure and do not have wi-fi access or a camera.

  • Launchpads are powered by an Android operating system and feature a 7-inch high definition touch screen, external speaker, universal audio jack, and a protective bumper.
  • One Launchpad can be checked out to a library card at a time for a 2 week lending period. Launchpads must be checked out and returned at the front desk with all of their accessories.

Early Literacy Classes with Miss Tami

Join us for creative movement, song, dance, fingerplays, and more. Parents will have the opportunity to engage one on one with their little one, meet other parents and give their child a chance to play with other.


  • Baby and Me (Babies ages Newborn to 24 mnths) at 10:45 a.m.


  • Toddler and Me (ages 2-5) starts at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m. 
  • Story Hour (ages 2-5) is at 10:30 a.m.
