Food For Fines!

November 19th, 2018  through January 7th, 2019

The library will accept unopened and unexpired, non-pershiable food, paper products and personal hygiene items in lieu of overdue fines. Be sure to bring your items to the front desk so staff can remove the fines from your record.


Paws With A Cause

Tuesday, November 27th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

"Paws With A Cause" presenter, Allison Harper, will be here with her foster pup, Duffie, to share with us how service dogs are trained and what "Paws With A Cause" does for those in need of a service animal.


Mobile Hotspots Are Here!

  • Mobile Hotspots can provide unlimited internet access for up to 5 devices anywhere a mobile signal is available, and are equipped with internet content filtering software.
  • They are available for check out by any Bridgman, Lake Township, or Chikaming Township patron over 18 years old with no overdues or unpaid fines on their account.
  • They can be checked out for 14 days, with no renewals. One Mobile Hotspot checkout per household at a time, please.
  • Hotspots must be returned to a staff member at the circulation desk. DO NOT return in the dropbox. They must be kept in a temperature-controlled environment. DO NOT leave them in a car.
  • Patrons with overdue Hotspots will be fined $5.00 per day. If a Hotspot is more than 4 days overdue, service will be canceled and the patron charged for a replacement kit. The patron is responsible for costs associated with lost or damaged Hotspots and accessories.

Tuesday, December 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Create a one-of-a-kind necklace using household washers. Registration is required, but materials will be provided.
